Every young person is an individual.
We teach them like one.
We're not trying to fix young people to fit education.
We're rebuilding education to fit them.
Thread is rebuilding, a new physical home for Yorkshire, a national online platform, and a community where real teaching actually happens.
Take a Look At What We Have done So far
our story
We started in a studio in Nidderdale. No big launch, no fanfare, just young people who'd been told they didn't fit, learning that they did. We kept our heads down and watched what happened when someone teaches to the person, not the label.
What happened: 100% pass rates. A young person with a visual impairment shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition out of more than 25,000 entries. A parent who, without being asked, extended her child's maths block herself because she could see it working. Young people arriving convinced they couldn't — leaving knowing they can.
We're not starting from scratch. We're rebuilding from proof. A new physical base. An online platform where learning is live, taught, and held inside a community not a folder of videos you sit through alone. The same teaching, available to far more people. That's what we're building next.
